Day 42 - Rested and Ready

Fully recharged and dry once more, the day starts with an ascent into stunning, calm terrain. A train of elderly people is overtaken with guile amidst the growing heat. Having properly arrived in the Vanoise National Park and enjoyed the serenity and calmness, the towns of Tignes and Val-d-Isère reminded of a more bourgeois life long abandoned. Content with passing through at speed and finding a simple campsite, a lengthy day is brought to an end.
