Arrival in Nyon

Day 32 - Designated Arrival

Another comfortable night in the tent precedes a hike through vineyards and forests as well as along streams and the shore of Lake Geneva. With the sun beaming down, the heat can be beaten off in the shade every now and then. The final yards into the old town of Nyon show no recognition in the form of signposts as to the significance of the location along the GR5, yet that does little to dampen the spirits or take away from the great feat achieved.
