Going Around Lake Geneva

Day 33 - Lakeside Speeding

An early start in mixed conditions is less along the shore and more the main road. As the kilometres are racked up and the first rain showers are averted, the Rhône is crossed at the tip of the lake before lunchtime. Following a short stint along the lakefront, small dwindling roads and paths through forests lead to the overnight campsite. With only a handful of other visitors and the possibility of rain looming over, an early night in the familiar setting is wisely chosen.
