Hiking back up to the point where the trail was sensibly abandoned the previous afternoon, an emotional day in the Alps comes with significant progress. Grocery shopping in Ceillac caters to all needs before the fully stocked hike over yet another tall peak set to a mesmerising background. In a rare occurence along the way, a place is found to serve an early dinner before setting down a valley in search of a bivouaking spot. With more than 90% of the phone's battery remaining upon arrival at a small riverbank, the best imaginable resting point provides an idyllic end to an intense day.
